| Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba in 1974 declared that the devotees need not come to Prasanthi Nilayam built by brick and mortar, if they could make their minds ‘abodes of supreme peace’ (Prasanthi Nilayam means just that). If they could do that, He would love to go there rather than allow the devotees to visit Him. God indeed prefers the temple in the heart to a temple built with great art. This was proved in the case of Poosalar who built a temple in his mind. | |
